The Operations Regional Director Role

At Indie Campers, we are seeking a seasoned operations leader to join our APAC team as Regional Operations Director. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading a regional team and driving operational results across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the regional team, ensuring effective execution of regional processes and management of local depots and their respective teams.
  • Oversee day-to-day regional operations execution, actively managing the team to achieve results defined for the region regarding fleet availability, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the performance of local operations, guaranteeing that operating standards are being followed and operational objectives are being met.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction is paramount, addressing feedback with utmost importance and adapting the modus operandi to decrease exceptions.
  • Coordinate with central teams to ensure processes are well defined and adapted to the region, ensuring success.
  • Lead, coordinate, and deliver projects related to operational expansion within the region.
  • Responsible for P&L management of the region, working closely with Revenue & Marketing, People, and Finance peers to optimize operational cost.

Requirements:

  • Background in Business Management, Engineering, or similar education.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience, with experience in strategic consulting or finance-related positions a plus.
  • Proven experience in managing operational teams with P&L ownership and direct control over operational financial performance, particularly in rent-a-car and hospitality industries.
  • Proven track record in establishing operational standards, developing structured operations, and leading high-performing teams.
  • Capacity to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, thriving under pressure and coordinating big teams.
  • Organized, analytical, and results-oriented, with fluent English communication skills.
