
Cloud Adoption Specialist

The primary focus of this role is to drive customer adoption and consumption of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) within their application projects. This entails partnering with customers to develop joint outcome-based plans, leveraging the engine for innovation through integration, extension, and analysis scenarios of the Intelligent Enterprise.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively engage with customers to increase sustainable consumption of SAP BTP services, coordinating activities with the Account Team by building out a joint plan and driving mutual understanding of IT architecture and business value.
- Deliver expertise on digital transformation and advise on technical and business architectures to drive strategic decision-making.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for SAP BTP strategy and orchestrate success resources across SAP and customers, leveraging assets of the SAP BTP engagement model.
- Analyse customer's technical needs and execute consumption plans for assigned customers.
- Instruct and prepare the customer to make optimal use of the solution in alignment with SAP strategy and roadmap.
- Act as a voice of the customer to internal stakeholders and collaborate with colleagues from various groups such as Cloud Success Services life-cycle relevant centres of experts, Account Teams, Pre-sales, Product Management groups, Support, Services, Partners, etc.
- 5-6 years of experience working in the IT Industry, preferably in Software Engineering, Solution Management, Project/Product Management, Project Implementation, Pre-sales, Technical Customer Engagement, Customer Success, Proactive Support Services, Consulting, etc.
- Excellent understanding of one or more areas of the SAP BTP portfolio: SAP BTP Extension and Integration Suite, Cloud Databases, Cloud Data Management, Analytics Cloud.
- Working knowledge of hybrid and cloud-based landscapes and ability to guide customers on technology architectures and strategies.
- Professional experience with implementing cloud initiatives.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and familiarity with design thinking methodology.
- Ability to communicate proactively and prioritize efficiently, with strong accountability.
- Strong organizational dynamics management both internally at SAP and externally with customers and partners.
- Continuous learning and adaptability to unique business and cultural practices of each region/country.
- Strong customer service mindset and customer empathy.
- Pleasure in learning new technologies and problem-solving.
- Able to thrive in dynamic team-based environments and guide new team members into the role.
