Technical Support Specialist

**Role Overview**
Aptella is seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the Support Services team, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support to customers in relation to service, hire, and sales of GIS/Mapping, GPS, Total Station, Machine Control, and Software solutions.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Providing technical phone support to customers
- Managing support cases within the Case Management Framework
- Field support for Geospatial products and Machine Control products
- Internal support for the Field Services Team
- Assisting the Pre-Delivery Team Leader in setting up hire equipment and Geo-Spatial deliveries
- Assisting the Field Services Scheduler with field service requirements and scheduling
- Customer liaison to assist with delivery requirements and system setup
- Delivery of training to customers on Geospatial Products
**Requirements**
- Experience with surveying practices, techniques, and concepts
- Experience with survey data preparation and various software packages
- Background in GPS & 3D Machine Control
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Team-oriented, excellent interpersonal skills, and positive outgoing personality
- Goal-oriented, outcome-focused, performance-driven
- Ability to build and manage relationships
- Sound computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office applications
- Display a high degree of professionalism and positive attitude
- Strong technical aptitude
- Able to work independently with minimal direction
- Ability to build and manage customer relationships and expectations
