Overview

This is a professional position with the New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD). The Bureau of Statewide Clinical Programs oversees Article 16 Clinics and Independent Practitioner Services for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities.

Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

The Mental Hygiene Program Evaluation Specialist 3 will serve as the Program Coordinator for the Bureau of Statewide Clinical Programs. The successful candidate will engage in data analysis to inform policy, service utilization, and management decisions related to Article 16 Clinics and IPSIDD. This role requires knowledge of relevant regulations and practice standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze available/provided data to inform recommendations for Service Authorization Levels for Article 16 clinics.
  • Assist the Bureau Director in working closely with other OPWDD divisions/bureaus and voluntary providers on Article 16 Clinic policy and transitional issues, IPSIDD topics, and other related Statewide Clinical Programs.
  • Provide ongoing technical assistance, guidance, and training on Article 16 Clinics, IPSIDD, and clinical organizations across the state.
  • Support all BSCP programs to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and federal requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidate must possess a bachelor's degree and three years of professional program evaluation experience† in a human services setting†† or have one year of permanent competitive service as a Mental Hygiene Program Evaluation Specialist 2.
