Job Overview

In a dynamic and fast-paced environment, we are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager - Transformation Projects to lead the delivery of high-profile programs within our Disruption Transformation Program Management Office at Qantas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring program goals are met on time, within scope, and on budget.

About You

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in program management and delivery. You will have a tertiary qualification or equivalent practical experience in program management, as well as a proven track record of developing and managing detailed program plans. Your expertise should include the ability to oversee project activities, manage resource capacity plans, identify and manage risks, and develop contingency plans to ensure program success.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to influence change management in complex matrixed organizations. You will also have a highly organized, proactive, and methodical approach to tasks, with exceptional attention to detail and a strong work ethic. Proficiency with project delivery software tools, such as Clarity, Jira Workflow Management, Smartsheet, or Microsoft Project, is essential.

As a Senior Program Manager - Transformation Projects, you will enjoy a competitive salary of $160,000 - $200,000 per annum, based on location and experience. Your Responsibilities

Manage program execution, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure program goals are met on time, within scope, and on budget.
Work closely with the Senior Manager of the PMO to enable the successful delivery of the Program.
Develop and manage detailed program plans, overseeing project activities and managing resource capacity plans.
Identify and manage risks, develop contingency plans, and ensure program success.
Collaborate with cross-functional program leads to define sprint objectives, allocate resources, and prioritize backlog items.
Lead the iterative project prioritization review process to ensure program business case objectives are met on time and on budget.
Manage conflicting priorities across parallel projects and foster strong working relationships across all levels of the organization.
