Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Director of Sports Programs to lead our sports development initiatives in West Sydney. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a passion for education and sports to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sports programs that promote physical activity, teamwork, and sportsmanship among students. They will work closely with teachers, coaches, and other stakeholders to ensure a high-quality learning experience for all participants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sports programs that align with the school's vision and values
  • Collaborate with teachers and coaches to design engaging and challenging lesson plans
  • Recruit and manage staff, including coaches and instructors
  • Plan and deliver training sessions for teachers and coaches on sports-related topics
  • Establish partnerships with local sporting organizations and clubs to provide opportunities for students
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sports programs and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, sports management)Current NESA accreditation and WWCC (or eligibility to gain)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsA strong passion for sports and educationExperience working with children and young peopleAbility to work effectively in a collaborative team environmentA commitment to the values and ethos of a co-educational independent K-12 school

What We Offer

In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary package of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. You will also enjoy a range of benefits, including:
