Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Suncorp Group in Adelaide. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering 37.5 hours of work per week.
About the RoleAs a Technical Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional claims services to our customers. You will be responsible for providing technical support, quality assurance, and coaching team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. They will also have a high level of attention to detail, with a focus on delivering accurate and timely results.
Key Responsibilities- Support the team leader in achieving strategic business goals by providing technical guidance and expertise.
- Develop and deliver training programs to help new staff members get up to speed quickly.
- Work closely with the claims team to provide technical support and coaching, helping them to achieve success.
- Build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders by communicating effectively and working collaboratively.
- Perform quality assurance tasks efficiently and accurately, ensuring that claims are processed correctly.
- Review and approve claim payments, ensuring that they are made in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage a portfolio of claims within service standards, ensuring that all deadlines are met.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends, identifying opportunities to improve processes and systems.
- A strong understanding of insurance claims principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- A high level of attention to detail, with a focus on delivering accurate and timely results.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work arrangements.

- A competitive salary of $85,000 - $105,000 per annum, depending on experience.
