As a Business Development and Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities and managing strategic partnerships.
This involves developing and executing strategies to expand market presence, enhance customer acquisition, and strengthen brand positioning. You will research market trends, understand customer needs, and analyze competitive landscapes to identify opportunities aligned with business objectives.
Collaboration is key, working cross-functionally with sales, auction, merchandise, marketing, and operations teams to integrate partnership initiatives seamlessly. The role supports sales by leveraging partnerships to enhance offerings, grow auction supply, drive conversion, and optimize performance;
nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring sustained engagement and alignment with business goals. This role is critical in shaping the company's growth trajectory through strategic relationship-building and commercial innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate and structure commercial agreements to ensure mutual value and long-term success.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities to drive incremental revenue.
  • Develop strategies to expand market presence and reach new customers.
  • Manage key client relationships and nurture long-term partnerships.
  • Think innovatively to identify customer and revenue growth opportunities in new channels and with partners.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with brands, suppliers, and other key stakeholders.

  • Support sales teams by leveraging partnerships to enhance offerings.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive conversion.
  • Monitor key metrics and performance indicators to optimize results.
  • Work closely with merchandise, marketing, auction, sales and operations teams to execute partnership initiatives.
  • Ensure seamless integration of new business initiatives into existing operations.
  • Align business development efforts with broader business objectives.
  • Research market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Identify new business models, products, or services that align with business goals.
  • Use insights to refine strategies and improve competitive positioning.
  • Keep up with industry shifts, regulations, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements:
  • 5-10 years experience in business development / partnership roles.
  • Experience with luxury goods and high net-worth individuals.
  • You've successfully managed national accounts, driving sales and delivering results across diverse categories.
  • You bring strong commercial acumen and a history of executing category growth strategies that make a real difference.
  • You know how to navigate tough negotiations, communicate effectively, and build lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • You turn data into actionable insights, using it to refine strategies and drive continuous improvement.
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments and are committed to achieving ambitious goals, even when faced with challenges.
