Development Assessment Officer

Council is a dynamic organization seeking an enthusiastic Development Assessment Officer to join its team. The ideal candidate will possess tertiary qualifications in town planning or equivalent discipline, and demonstrate knowledge of applicable NSW planning legislation.
Job OverviewThe successful applicant will be responsible for assessing development and other applications against relevant planning provisions and policies to meet the changing needs of our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluating development applications and making recommendations on compliance with planning regulations
- Providing expert advice on planning matters to stakeholders and the public
- Collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
