This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the Development Assessment Team in assessing Development Applications and providing advice on development proposals and land use matters to Council and the community. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for carrying out regular inspections and regulation of developments, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and Council Policy.

The ideal candidate will have recognized tertiary qualifications in town planning, experience in a similar role, and a valid driver's license. They will also possess detailed knowledge of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, the Local Government Act, and related planning and environmental legislation. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, are essential for this position, as well as membership of Planning Institute Australia.

We offer a competitive salary package of $97805 - $106608 (plus Super) and a leaseback vehicle available for private or commuter use. This is a permanent full-time role, working 35 hours per week.   • Recognized tertiary qualifications in town planning
  • Experience in a similar role
  • A valid driver's license
