Assessment Officer Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Assessments Team as an Assessment Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for the diligent and timely assessment, management, and preparation of assessment plans for all complaints received, and assisting stakeholders understand the assessment process and decisions.

About the Role

The Assessment Officer will provide high-quality assessment services to the community, ensuring compliance with legislation and regulations. You will work closely with stakeholders, including the public, healthcare providers, and other government agencies, to resolve complaints in a fair and timely manner.

About You

  • You possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in a complaints or case management environment.
  • You are driven and motivated to manage a high-volume workload with tight deadlines.
  • You are a confident and impartial decision-maker, with the ability to display empathy while remaining objective.
  • You have advanced written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication to various stakeholders.
