About the Role

The Senior Partner Information Security and Service Delivery at Bank of Queensland plays a crucial role in driving the implementation, monitoring, and assurance of our Risk Management Strategy (RMS) and operational risk management framework (ORMF).

This position focuses on managing technology, information security, and service delivery risks, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and best practices. You will partner closely with Group Technology and Information Security to manage these risks effectively, providing trusted advice on issue and incident management.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Monitoring and assessing the effectiveness of internal controls and frameworks
  • Facilitating the business's annual risk profile review
  • Supporting the strategic direction and growth of Bank of Queensland

This role is integral to embedding key risk management processes and ensuring the organisation's risk management strategies are robust and effective.

About You

You have extensive experience in designing and leading assurance reviews within the financial services sector, with significant expertise in technology risk, information security, and service delivery.

Your deep understanding of the value an effective control environment brings to a business is complemented by your ability to drive cross-functional initiatives and meet timelines.

You possess excellent leadership, project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and are adept at effective communication and stakeholder management.

You excel in developing good working relationships and sharing knowledge effectively. Your proven success in developing and implementing risk management frameworks and assurance strategies is underpinned by a high level of personal credibility and influence at all organisational levels.
