About Our Role

We are seeking an experienced Chief Data Operations Specialist to join our Institutional Capital Reform Program in Melbourne. In this key role, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for the implementation of APS 112 and APS 113 Capital Reform within the institutional division.

Your primary focus will be on providing timely analysis and ensuring smooth execution of regular reporting processes. You will work closely with business owners to provide actionable insights, influence system requirements, and make practical recommendations to support business decisions.

The talented team in ICRP leverages data, analytics, and reporting to formulate insights and work with project and business stakeholders to develop solutions compliant with APS 112 and APS 113 changes.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Source, organize, and manage data from various institutional and risk systems.
  • Engage with business and system stakeholders to elicit requirements and communicate changes effectively.
  • Execute regular reporting and collaborate with the broader team to achieve shared goals.
  • Deliver high-quality insights that drive business value.
  • Support the project business analyst in documenting logic and testing new/updated data elements required for capital calculation.
  • Contribute to credit policy changes and impact assessments related to new standards or data gaps.

Requirements:

  • A strong understanding of institutional systems, products, and processes is highly desirable.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a business-related field are preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving and quantitative analysis skills, with the ability to identify and analyze complex information quickly and efficiently.
  • Proven experience in managing diverse stakeholders and demonstrating exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain high standards of accuracy and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Leadership skills to deliver outcomes that meet stakeholder expectations, with the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and good working knowledge of other Microsoft and Atlassian products.

Salary Information:

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications.
