Senior Flood Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced professional to join our team in Brisbane. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects and contribute to our growth.

Key Responsibilities:">
  • Prepare comprehensive flood studies, management plans, and risk assessments
  • Communicate flood conditions, government compliance requirements, and the impacts of proposed development on flood conditions for upstream and downstream properties
  • Manage communications between clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders while ensuring timely solutions
  • Collaborate with other teams to deliver various projects across QLD
  • Coordinate resources including team members, contractors, and/or consultants to deliver projects according to plan
">Requirements:">
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related fields
  • 6+ years of experience in civil engineering and flood management-related projects
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction practices, and project management techniques
  • Proficiency in TUFLOW, DRAINS/XP-Rafts, and MUSIC software
  • Strong client management skills with ability to work to deadlines
  • Excellent written communication and problem-solving skills
