Job Requirements- Bachelor of Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related fields.
- 6+ years of experience in civil engineering and flood management-related projects.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction practices, and project management techniques.
- Proficiency in TUFLOW, DRAINS/XP-Rafts, and MUSIC.
- Excellent written communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using MS Office and MS Project (desirable).
- Prepare flood studies, floodplain management plans and risk assessments.
- Communicate flood conditions, government compliance requirements and the impacts of proposed development on flood conditions for upstream and downstream properties.
- Manage communications between clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders while ensuring timely delivery of quality solutions.
- Collaborate with other teams to deliver various projects across QLD.
- Coordinate resources including team members, third-party contractors and/or consultants to deliver projects according to plan.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
- Implement quality control processes and document them.
- Assist in managing project budgets, invoicing and variations where required.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Address client queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
