General Manager - Flood Warning Infrastructure Specialist

The Australian Government is investing in the development of a comprehensive flood warning system for high-risk areas.

This initiative aims to acquire, upgrade and integrate local government-owned rain and river level gauges into the existing flood warning network across Australia.

The appointed General Manager will lead a team responsible for designing and implementing the Flood Warning Infrastructure Network (FWIN) Program.

This is an opportunity to contribute to the nation's emergency response capacity and shape the work of the Bureau of Meteorology.

Key Responsibilities:
