
Hardware Industry Account Growth Specialist

**About the Role:**
We are seeking an Account Manager to join our dynamic Sales Team. As a pivotal member, you will maximise sustainable growth, sales and profitability of Paslode in nominated channels and territory by understanding the value proposition for each brand and developing effective commercial relationships & strategic account plans with internal & external stakeholders.
Location - Victoria - Western Suburbs with a territory ranging from Footscray, Geelong, Ballarat to Warrnambool, with 3/4 days travelling each month.
A company car is provided with this role.
The Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strong and effective relationships throughout all levels of a customer's business and have a thorough understanding of the key drivers and opportunities within their business;
- Ensure effective ranging & merchandising, provide post-sales support/administration, attends trade shows, identify training needs and delivers training, attends exhibitions and sales meetings as required;
- Monitor, analyse and provides insights into account performance. Leverage analysis to drive identification of gaps/ opportunities and inform business decisions;
- Understand the value of the offer from the perspective of the customer & leverages it as a collective solution (including inventory & range management, merchandising, marketing, promotion, training, end user engagement etc);
- Develop target customer strategic account plans that optimise growth & delivery of sales targets. Own the implementation and regularly reviews performance in collaboration with internal & external stakeholders;
- Perform any other duties or serve in such other capacity as may be determined by management.
About You:
- Background in sales, hardware industry preferred but not essential;
- Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external customer relationships;
- Experience developing & implementing account plans and ability to articulate successful outcomes delivered;
- Intermediate skills in MS Office;
- Excellent oral and written communication including presentation skills;
- Ability to work independently and in a team;
- Flexibility in relation to hours and location of work duties;
- Motor Vehicle driver's licence.
