Senior Accountant/ Client Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our boutique public practice, dedicated to delivering high-quality taxation and business advisory services with a personalised approach.

This is a growth-focused firm where you'll enjoy flexibility, autonomy, and direct influence on the business's future. You will manage your own portfolio of business advisory and tax clients, ensuring top-tier service, compliance, and strong relationship management.

You'll prepare financial statements, tax returns, BAS, IAS, and FBT for a range of entities, while delivering strategic advice to help clients grow and succeed.

The role includes mentoring junior staff, identifying value-add opportunities, and improving internal processes.

You will also take over an existing book of clients and have the scope to expand it further.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of business advisory and tax clients
  • Prepare financial statements, tax returns, BAS, IAS, and FBT
  • Deliver strategic advice to help clients grow and succeed
  • Mentor junior staff and identify value-add opportunities
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in public practice accounting
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business, or Economics
  • CA/CPA qualified or working towards
  • Strong client relationship management and communication skills
  • Proficient in Xero, Microsoft Office, and relevant accounting software
  • Passion for business advisory, problem-solving, and helping clients succeed
