Job Overview:

The IT Infrastructure Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining and provisioning ICT services to public hospitals. This position is based in Geelong or Warrnambool, with occasional travel required in south west Victoria.

  • Key responsibilities include administration and maintenance of key infrastructure hardware, server fleet support, and providing Level 3 support to Citrix environments.
  • Liaise with support services to ensure user needs are met and participate in release control and incident/problem management.
  • Assist with SCCM package deployments and enhancements, as well as map system relationships and create custom dashboards in Vrealize.
Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Management: Administration and maintenance of Key Infrastructure Hardware
  • Server Support: Administration and support of a large server fleet
  • Citrix Support: Provide Level 3 support to Citrix environment
  • Package Deployments: Assist with SCCM Package deployments and enhancements
  • Vrealize Dashboards: Map of system relationships and creation of custom dashboards in Vrealize

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology
  • Experience working with Server Virtualization Software (VMWARE / AHV) via tertiary education or industry experience
  • Working knowledge of vRealize Operations Manager
  • Experience working with Citrix XEN App in a large deployment
