Mens Health Services Manager

Anyinginyi Health Aboriginal Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mens Health Services Manager to lead our mens health clinic in Tennant Creek.
About the RoleThe successful applicant will provide leadership, management, and coordination of comprehensive primary health care services for Aboriginal men in the Barkly region. They will ensure cultural safety and high standards of clinical care and client flow, working closely with a multidisciplinary team including GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
This role requires strong relationships with male clients, effective collaboration with colleagues within the Health Services Section, and a holistic approach to overall good health and wellbeing.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate regular meetings of the mens health team to facilitate good communication and positive team dynamics.
- Develop and implement culturally appropriate activities to promote male engagement with health services.
- Work with other health services and organisations relevant to Aboriginal men in the region to provide high quality health care.
- Coordinate access to healthcare by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander male clients across the Barkley Region communities.
- Ensure rostering of staff and client workflow management.
- Assist GPs and other clinical staff as required, including visiting health professionals and specialists.
- Ensure data, reporting, and compliance obligations for services are met.
- Implement relevant policies and procedures to ensure clinical and legal compliance.
- Manage complaints from clients, staff, and service providers.
To be considered for this position, you must possess current registration as an Aboriginal Health Practitioner or Registered Nurse and have evidenced understanding of the Primary Health Care system and key issues relevant to closing the gap in health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Demonstrated experience providing a broad range of clinical interventions and possessing qualifications to provide vaccinations within the Northern Territory are essential. Knowledge of quality and accreditation processes and requirements for primary health care services is also required.
