Overview

Haymes Paint is seeking a driven Sales and Marketing Professional to join our Victoria Sales Team. As a key player in our sales strategy, you will be responsible for increasing market share in the Melbourne CBD to Western Suburbs Region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Securing Sales Pipeline: Identify business opportunities and develop a proactive sales pipeline, including new and existing clients.
  • Building Relationships: Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with customers to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Marketing Promotions: Promote the Haymes Paint product and services portfolio to drive sales growth.
  • Customer Responsiveness: Utilize customer responsiveness and problem-solving skills to build a loyal customer base and achieve set targets.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and negotiate regular business proposals to secure sales.
  • Supply Chain Management: Anticipate project demand requirements and effectively communicate with our distribution network to deliver products in full, correct, and on time.

About You

  • Several years of relevant experience in paint coatings, construction sales, or a related industry.
  • Ability to leverage multiple channels, including face-to-face, phone, and digital.
  • Influence to create valuable business/client connections and drive mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Desire to utilize the full product portfolio across an assigned territory.
  • Strong business acumen with a focus on executing business plans and sharing best practices.
  • Commitment to service excellence and a consistent personalized customer experience.
  • Established level of computer literacy.
  • Willingness to work outside typical business hours, as required.
  • Enthusiasm to join a thriving Australian made and owned organization.
  • An unencumbered driver's licence.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Background in trade and/or paint industry.
  • A tertiary qualification or equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Demonstrable experience with Salesforce, Oracle, or another CRM platform.
