Injury Management Specialist

Safety People is seeking a highly skilled Injury Management Advisor to join our team for a 6-month temporary period, with a strong potential for permanency. This role will play a crucial part in supporting our team with effective injury management and claims handling.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and Manage Injury Claims: Focus on return-to-work and ensure timely and effective resolution of a portfolio of injury claims.
- Provide Comprehensive Claims Management: Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of excellence in injury management.
- Implement Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Optimize processes and achieve best practice outcomes in injury management, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
- Specialize in Victorian WorkCover Claims: Develop expertise in Victorian WorkCover claims and injury management, staying up-to-date with the latest regulations and best practices.
- Address a Variety of Claims: Manage a range of claims, including occupational violence, mental health/psychosocial issues, slips, trips, falls, and manual handling, ensuring effective resolution and return-to-work outcomes.
- Focus on Delivering Impactful Outcomes: Prioritize high-cost claims (including SCEs) and ensure new claims are managed effectively from the beginning, driving positive outcomes and minimizing downtime.
- Strong Expertise in Victorian WorkCover Claims: Possess extensive knowledge and experience in Victorian WorkCover claims and injury management.
- Preferred Experience in the Healthcare and Social Assistance Sector: Ideal candidates will have experience in the Healthcare and Social Assistance sector or insurer claim management, with a strong understanding of the industry.
- Proven Ability to Handle Complex Cases: Demonstrate a proven track record of handling complex cases and achieving positive results, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and outcomes.
