About the Role

Job Summary

Gallagher is seeking an experienced Return to Work Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our claims management team, you will be responsible for leading the recovery and return to work outcomes for injured workers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and expertise in recovery and return to work strategies, supporting your team manager and wider leadership group.
  • Manage a portfolio of high-risk injury claims, working closely with injured workers and employers to achieve recovery and return to work goals.
  • Support Senior Case Managers with regular claim conferencing and provide guidance on biopsychosocial risk factors.
  • Identify claims at risk of developing secondary psychological injuries and implement strategic measures to support injured workers.
  • Conduct return to work visits and treater case conferences to support recovery and return to work outcomes.
Requirements
  • Experience in workers compensation scheme claims management or significant return to work knowledge and experience.
  • Knowledge of personal injury management concepts relating to Victoria's Workers Compensation Scheme.
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience.
  • Time management, administrative, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in leading people, teams, or key initiatives, as well as coaching and mentoring skills.
