**Leadership Opportunity for Education Improvement**

As a dedicated educational leader with a strong passion for inclusive education and strategic project management, you will oversee a significant initiative to strengthen governance and improve support for students with disability across multiple sites.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct a thorough review of current systems and processes at all stages of the NCCD data collection
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with QLD Health, NDIA, and other external providers in each community to work together around disability diagnosis
  • Streamline information-sharing and parental consent processes for Education, Health, NDIA, and external providers
  • Develop alternatives to using the NCCD as the sole staffing model for discrete communities
  • Provide targeted support to schools to maintain their current NCCD data
  • Implement processes to facilitate the engagement of SWD in learning
  • Enhance staff capability to identify and implement appropriate adjustments to support SWD
  • Establish collaboration processes across sites to support the development of cross-school moderation for the NCCD and share best practices

This role requires exceptional leadership skills, the ability to build partnerships, and a commitment to improving outcomes for students with disability.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in education, particularly in leadership roles, and a strong understanding of disability support services.
