Your OpportunityThis permanent full-time position offers a challenging yet rewarding career as a TAFE Teacher where you will make a real difference in the lives of our students.
Key Responsibilities:- To deliver training and assessment services to students using various delivery methods including classroom, online, and workplace learning.
- To design and develop assessments and training programs meeting the needs of industry and employers.
- To maintain current industry currency and expertise ensuring teaching practices reflect best practice in vocational education and training.
To succeed in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and requirements:
- Vocational competencies at least to the level being delivered and assessed.
- A minimum of 5 years maritime industry experience as a Chief Engineer or Second Engineer within the last 5 years.
- Possession of one of the following training and assessment credentials: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Diploma of Vocational Education and Training, or its successor.
- Current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment provided.
- Current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs the training and assessment provided.
Please note proof of qualifications and industry currency/experience must be provided at interview.
