District Bushfire Coordinator

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing bushfire mitigation strategies across the district. This includes risk assessments, prioritisation, options assessment, and evaluation of residual risk.
- Lead the planning and execution of bushfire mitigation activities, ensuring brigades and partners are supported in the delivery of bushfire preparedness, education, and engagement.
- Manage and mentor Bushfire Mitigation Officers and Bushfire Mitigation Officers First Nations to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to undertake their roles effectively.
- Undertake duties as Chief Fire Warden in the absence of the Chief Fire Warden, and provide operational support to Area Managers and Brigades as required.
