National Sales Director, Corporate Solutions

This is a senior leadership position responsible for managing and supporting daily operations of the corporate tool of trade Business Development Managers to achieve profitable new business growth against agreed sales targets and KPI's.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and deliver the Corporate tool of trade New business team's annual sales targets
- Oversee compliance and quality input into preparation of responses, sales proposal or presentations
- Assist or contribute with contractual negotiations of new business opportunities
- Deliver timely on-boarding process for all new clients including handover to relevant Relationship team
- Maximise and develop third party relationships with key funding partners
- Assist with training and compliance of CRM Dynamics across the BDM team
- Provide leadership, coaching, training and guidance to develop team's capability, performance and overall engagement
- Actively collaborate with multiple teams and regions
- People management, significant experience as a Sales Leader, with a track record of consistent team performance & results
- Proven ability to position business relative to competition, anticipate and address evolving market opportunities and emerging issues that ensures the right balance between long term business strategy and short-term commercial requirements
- Excellent communicator both verbally and in writing, demonstrating good listening and probing skills
- Ability to understand customer's needs and consistently adapt products/services offering in order to attract and/or retain new/existing customers
- Comprehensive understanding of the Australian fleet management environment & Industry, including fleet management principles
- Working knowledge of industry legislative, compliance and regulatory obligations
- Ability to attract, motivate and develop high performing teams, maintain high levels of engagement
- Proven ability to establish clear goals, devise plans, meet deadlines, and inspire others to achieve stated outcomes
- Ability to work effectively and adapt to a fast paced environment, with a focus on contiguous improvement and consistent results
- Business acumen based on a solid understanding of the business and finance principles
- Capability to coach through challenges and setbacks, provide on-going developmental feedback to help develop team members
- Sound Microsoft office skills
- Previous experience in business management or finance related industry (desirable)
- Proven experience using CRM and driving behaviours across the team
- Sound MS competencies and skills (desirable)
