Finance Technology Specialist Opportunity
Job Overview
A high-level professional position has become available for delivering improvements to the operational robustness and profitability of a trading platform.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver focused enhancements to the operational efficiency and profitability of the trading platform
- Contribute to mission-critical projects encompassing trading, pricing, positions, and risk management as well as analytics and market connectivity
- Work flexibly with a focus on real-time issues and long-term initiatives
- Performance tuning, maximizing throughput while minimizing latency
- Ongoing consultation with the trading team to understand how technology can best satisfy their needs
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Development experience in C++ or C#
- A scripting language, preferably Python
- Experience working in a High Frequency Trading firm
- Experience working in both Windows and Linux environments
- Understanding of network protocols
