About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized professional to join our team as a Sales and Relationship Manager. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting our company and products to residential building companies and engineers.

This is a fast-paced role that offers a great deal of variety and will challenge you to hone your existing sales and relationship building skills. You will be working with a mix of residential building companies and engineers, promoting our company and products, and developing strong relationships with customers to demonstrate how we can add value to their business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitoring client leads within the industry.
  • Servicing existing clients.
  • Growing our client base and sourcing new business.
  • Developing a sound knowledge of all company products and services.
  • Responding to sales enquiries to provide pricing and product information.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering/architectural drawings to determine requirements.
  • Following up quotes and converting pending quotes into sales.
  • Developing strong relationships with customers and demonstrating how we can add value to their business.
  • Liaising with our builders' supervisors and our installers as required.
Requirements
  • Experience in the construction industry.
  • Proven account management success in the residential building industry.
  • Ability to interpret house plans and slab designs.
  • Ability to record, produce reports, and analyse data.
  • A high work ethic, reliability, and a genuine drive to progress in life.
  • Outstanding administration, organisational, and people management skills.
  • Sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
  • The ability to manage your own time and take ownership of your tasks.
  • Ability to work both within a team and autonomously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
