Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced pharmacist manager who is passionate about leadership and improving community health outcomes. As the Pharmacist Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily Dispensary operations and ensuring the smooth workflow and outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Supervise pharmacy operations, manage the Dispensary team, and ensure strict compliance with health regulations and pharmacy standards.
- Dispensing and Counseling: Dispense prescriptions and counsel patients on appropriate medication usage.
- Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop our team of pharmacists and pharmacy assistants and pharmacist graduates.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory and ensure the pharmacy is well-stocked at all times based on pharmacy systems.
- Community Health Programs: Lead community health programs such as vaccination clinics and health screenings, Sleep Apnoea clinic, etc.
- Allied Health Relationships: Manage our in-store allied health relationships with the view to integrate procedures to maximize patient and business outcomes.
- Qualifications: Holds a Bachelor or Masters of Pharmacy or equivalent with current AHPRA registration.
- Leadership Experience: Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and support your team.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience (at least 4 years) in a pharmacist in charge role, ideally in a managerial position.
- Compounding Experience: Compounding experience is a strong plus.
- Vaccination Experience: Proficiency in administering vaccinations, or a willingness to train as needed.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
