Position Overview

The Account Manager role is responsible for comprehensive management of designated customer accounts. Key responsibilities include establishing and nurturing client relationships within your portfolio, identifying new revenue opportunities from existing clients, and onboarding new customers who can benefit from our offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of and manage relationships with assigned Shift customers through strategic account management practices and proactive outreach.
  • Acquire new customers from the Direct channel, focusing on warm, pre-qualified leads.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and demonstrate how Shift solutions can facilitate their growth.
  • Effectively present and sell Shift Platform solutions to potential clients, utilizing a well-defined sales approach.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with your customer portfolio to enhance platform utilization, promote services, and ensure retention.
  • Provide expert guidance to clients regarding services, platform functionalities, and general inquiries.
  • Address and resolve customer queries via email and phone in a timely manner.
  • Conduct due diligence for establishing new accounts and managing existing ones.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to develop efficient processes that enhance customer service and account management.
  • Build strong relationships with Business Owners, Brokers, Partners, and internal sales teams.
  • Coordinate with various operational teams to address the needs and challenges of your customer portfolio.
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM for managing customer account information effectively.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in business or finance is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Proven experience in relationship management or sales within a professional services environment.
  • Demonstrated success in managing a pipeline of existing customers and potential leads.
  • Experience in customer support or representative roles is essential.
  • A strong understanding of financial services, particularly lending, is highly regarded.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications is required.
