We are offering a competitive salary of $110,000 plus superannuation, ensuring our Senior Payroll Officer feels valued and rewarded for their expertise.

Job Description

In this challenging role, you will assist the broader team in driving process improvements through the payroll function and broader business. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and processing payroll on a weekly basis
  • Completing new starter and employee terminations
  • Award interpretation and applying relevant policies and procedures
  • Reviewing and uploading time and attendance files
  • Providing support to management with month-end tasks
  • Supporting management through month and year-end processes which includes preparing superannuation, payroll tax, WorkCover and executive bonus calculations
  • Responding to payroll related queries
  • Assisting with the management of the payroll team
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 5+ years end-to-end payroll experience
  • Exposure to high-volume/fast-paced Payroll environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • iChris or Chris21 experience required
