About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Management Specialist to join our team in Moorabbin. This is a permanent, full-time position with an immediate start.

As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for processing weekly payrolls for 1100 employees across our group of companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process weekly payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees
  • Handle payroll queries and discrepancies, providing excellent customer service
  • Update and maintain payroll systems with employee information changes
  • Assist with preparing forecasts, budgets, and financial reports
  • Evaluate and implement compliance with relevant legislation and awards
  • Calculate earnings, deductions, and benefits based on shift differentials, overtime, and other factors
  • Process increases, back pay, leave provisions, and termination payments
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong experience in payroll management, preferably in a similar industry or company size
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with Single Touch Payroll (STP) and ATO reporting requirements
