We are collaborating with a reputable service provider and equipment distributor in the printing sector who is currently seeking to enhance their field service team. In this role, you will primarily focus on servicing some of the most sought-after digital, UV inkjet, and solvent-based printing equipment available.

If you are not currently an engineer but possess substantial experience as a printer operator, the organization is open to upskilling capable printers who aspire to evolve into engineering roles. If you are a technically skilled user of Mimaki, Roland, or Mutoh printing machinery and are interested in a career in this field, this could be an excellent opportunity as comprehensive training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, maintain, and service a variety of printing and finishing machinery.
  • Deliver exceptional on-site technical assistance to clients and end users.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients regarding equipment inquiries, advice, training, and support.
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment operates at optimal efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to troubleshoot and resolve intricate electrical and mechanical challenges.

Candidate Profile

  • An experienced electromechanical engineer (preferably with a relevant qualification in electrics/mechanics), OR a skilled printer operator looking to advance their career.
  • Strong analytical skills and technical knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to travel to client locations across the UK.
  • Proficient in IT.
