About the Role

This is a critical position for building and maintaining strategic relationships with key existing clients.

The Senior Client Relationship Manager will be responsible for:

  • Developing long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with all clients within their allocated portfolio;
  • Retailing top-tier strategic relationships;
  • Identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities from these clients and converting into revenue streams;

Key responsibilities include:

  • Serving as the trusted client liaison point for senior decision-makers;
  • Acting as an industry expert, familiarizing oneself with client operations and the market they operate in;
  • Understanding client strategy, business challenges, and priorities;
  • Making pipeline management and CRM administration a priority;
  • Achieving agreed-upon revenue targets, including client retention and upsell/cross-sell of additional products and solutions;
  • Achieving activity targets focused on regular proactive client engagement;
  • Leading commercial negotiations and ongoing revenue forecasting for clients;
  • Ensuring both client and provider meet contractual commitments;
  • Collaborating with clients to implement and ensure adoption of trading and market data products, proactively educating clients on new release functionality or features and benefits;
  • Supporting the delivery of new and enhanced product features and propositions to the market;
  • Acting as the conduit to internal teams and engaging specialists for complex requirements;
  • Building a network within the industry, including clients and prospects, and contributing to opportunities to promote services;
  • Drafting, maintaining, and implementing Client Account Plans;
  • Compiling, managing, scheduling, and presenting to clients e.g. quarterly review meetings;
