Chief Incident Resolution Specialist

The primary role of an Incident Operations Lead/Business Analyst is to oversee incident and issue management processes. The focus is on timely identification, recording, and resolution of incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day management of incident response activities, coordinating across business units to investigate, analyse, and remediate incidents.
- Manage and track progress of incident resolution, ensuring timely closure and escalation of risks or delays to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations and drive down incident volume.
- Support and maintain the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) system, ensuring data accuracy and performing quality assurance checks.
- Conduct trend analysis and prepare regular reporting for senior stakeholders on incident patterns and performance against targets.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in operations management, with a solid understanding of risk, compliance, and incident management in superannuation or the broader financial services sector.
- Experience in coordinating cross-functional activities or projects, including stakeholder engagement and reporting.
- Strong familiarity with GRC systems and incident management frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; capable of interpreting complex data and identifying trends.
- Tertiary qualifications in a business-related discipline.
- Familiarity with automated workflows, reporting, and dashboards in GRC systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
