The Role Overview:

  • We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee the incident and issue management processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely identification, recording, and resolution of incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day management of incident response activities, coordinating across business units to investigate, analyse, and remediate incidents.
  • Manage and track progress of incident resolution, ensuring timely closure and escalation of risks or delays to senior management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations and help drive down incident volume.
  • Support and maintain Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) system, ensuring data accuracy and performing quality assurance checks.
  • Conduct trend analysis and prepare regular reporting for senior stakeholders on incident patterns and performance against targets.
  • Coordinate and engage large stakeholder group involved in incident management workflows.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in operations management, with solid understanding of risk, compliance, and incident management in superannuation or financial services sector.
  • Experience in coordinating cross-functional activities or projects, including stakeholder engagement and reporting.
  • Strong familiarity with GRC systems and incident management frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; capable of interpreting complex data and identifying trends.
  • High attention to detail and strong verbal and written communication skills.
