Incident Operations Lead/Business Analyst Position

We are seeking a skilled Incident Operations Lead to oversee the management of incidents and issues in a fast-paced superannuation environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, business analysis, and coordination, with a strong background in incident or issue management in the financial services sector.

About the Role:
  • Lead day-to-day incident response activities, coordinating across business units to investigate, analyze, and remediate incidents.
  • Manage and track progress of incident resolution, ensuring timely closure and escalation of risks or delays to senior management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations and drive down incident volume.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee incident and issue management processes, including coordination across stakeholders.
  • Manage progress of incident resolution and escalate risks or delays.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance and reduce incident volume.
  • Support and maintain Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) systems.
  • Conduct trend analysis and prepare regular reporting for senior stakeholders.
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement and manage large stakeholder groups.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in operations management, risk, compliance, and incident management in superannuation or the broader financial services sector.
  • Experience in coordinating cross-functional activities or projects, including stakeholder engagement and reporting.
  • Familiarity with GRC systems and incident management frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of interpreting complex data and identifying trends.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a business-related discipline.
