Rehabilitation Consultant Job Description

As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will be responsible for undertaking assessments including activities of daily living, home, worksite, functional, ergonomic, equipment assessments.

You will also identify Return to Work (RTW) barriers and liaise with clients, insurers, medical practitioners and employers to achieve outcomes appropriate for all parties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake assessments including activities of daily living, home, worksite, functional, ergonomic, equipment assessments
  • Identify Return to Work (RTW) barriers
  • Liaise with clients, insurers, medical practitioners and employers to achieve outcomes appropriate for all parties
  • Design, implement and monitor programs that assist injured employees to return to the workforce
Requirements:
  • Australian recognised degree qualification and full Accreditation in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Osteopath or Physiotherapy
  • Willingness to travel
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Determination to consistently provide a high level of customer service
  • A keen sense of punctuality and the effective ability to manage your time
