Our organisation is seeking a task-oriented individual to perform debt collection activities, build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers, and contribute to the smooth operation of our debt recovery processes.
- Collect outstanding debts from customers through timely follow-ups and negotiations.
- Establish long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders and customers.
- Monitor accounts and payments into accounts to ensure accurate tracking.
- Place holds or blocks on accounts as necessary to prevent further issues.
- Maintain up-to-date records of customer interactions and account details.
- Ensure compliance with policies and confidentiality procedures.
- Prepare and analyse relevant reports to inform business decisions.
- Prior experience in accounts receivable or debt recovery environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills for building rapport quickly.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Data analytic skills and commercial acumen to drive informed decision-making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite applications.
- Able to adapt quickly and demonstrate a willingness to learn.
