Job Title: Injury Management Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Injury Management Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to make a real difference in the lives of others.

Job Description:

The Injury Management Specialist will play a key role in supporting employees who have been injured at work or have developed a work-related illness. Your primary responsibility will be to provide guidance, support, and coaching to help these individuals return to work safely and as quickly as possible.

  1. You will apply early intervention claims management strategies to all work-related and non-work-related injuries/incidents.
  2. You will develop and monitor meaningful plans for claims lodged with insurers within legislative timeframes.
  3. You will identify and resolve barriers to sustainable recovery, including gathering relevant medical information.
  4. You will ensure that claims management strategies support key business objectives, such as reducing workers' compensation premiums and claims costs.
  5. You will maintain regular communication with injured employees, managers, insurers, doctors, RTW specialists, and others involved in the claim.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in injury and workers' compensation management.
  • Current Return to Work Coordinator (RTWC) certification.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Injury Management or Health and Safety are desirable.
