Project Coordinator Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Coordinator to join our team at Duratec Australia. As a key member of our projects team, you will play a vital role in the planning and coordination of Defence sector construction, refurbishment, and remediation projects across the Newcastle and Hunter regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collate project information and coordinate works, equipment, and personnel
  • Compile and create QA/QC documentation
  • Coordinate direct labour workforce, suppliers, and sub-contractors
  • Program and schedule works
  • Prepare RFI's and quantity take-offs
  • Ensure compliance with HSECQ requirements
  • Pricing variations
  • Manage computer systems to ensure compliance

About You

  • Post-graduate experience in a similar role within the building and construction industry
  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
  • The ability to positively influence, develop, and maintain stakeholder relationships
  • An understanding of the bigger picture and ability to self-manage own workload while working well in a team
  • Proven problem-solving ability and can 'think outside the box'
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage deadlines
