We're seeking a highly skilled Environmental Assessment Specialist to lead our project team in delivering innovative solutions for clients. This role will involve coordinating multidisciplinary projects, developing project management skills, and collaborating with technical specialists to create environmentally sustainable outcomes.

About the Role

  • Lead environmental assessment and planning inputs into projects, including water, transport, and renewable energy infrastructure projects.
  • Develop project management skills with support from experienced senior consultants.
  • Collaborate with technical discipline specialists, stakeholders, and the community to deliver innovative solutions.

Requirements

  • Between 2-10 years of experience in environmental approvals and planning.
  • Experience in authoring/contributing to environmental impact assessment and planning approvals documents.
  • Working level understanding of NSW's environmental assessment and planning framework.
  • Developing project management skills in coordinating multidisciplinary projects.

  • An estimated salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum.
  • A hybrid work arrangement, with the opportunity to work from our Newcastle or Sydney offices and remotely for ~ 2 days per week.
