A luxury hotel in the heart of Melbourne's CBD, QT Melbourne is a vibrant and cultural hub. We're looking for a skilled and charismatic Front Office Duty Manager to lead our front desk operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
The Role
As the Front Office Duty Manager, you'll be responsible for managing check-ins and check-outs with flair, solving guest concerns with a smile, and inspiring your team to deliver top-notch service. You'll ensure the front office area is spotless, handle room assignments and reservations with ease, and tackle any unexpected challenges that arise.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Orchestrating Seamless Arrivals and Departures: Be the maestro of check-ins, ensuring seamless arrivals and departures with flair and finesse.
- Making Guests Feel Like VIPs: Make guests feel like valued individuals by solving problems and exceeding expectations.
- Leading the Front Desk Squad: Guide, motivate, and inspire our front office team to be their best selves.
- Juggling Multiple Tasks with Ease: Master multitasking, juggling room assignments, reservations, and daily operations like a circus performer with flair.
- Ensuring a Welcoming Environment: Ensure that our hotel's front office area and guest spaces are as shiny as a new penny.
- Solving Problems with a Cool Head: Address guest concerns and unexpected hiccups with a cool head and a warm smile.
- Creating Shift Schedules: Create shift schedules that ensure our team is always ready to deliver their best.

About You
We're looking for a born leader with a flair for the dramatic (in a good way) and a knack for communication. A hotel or hospitality aficionado with previous experience and a knack for making guests feel at home. Tech-savvy with a love for hotel management software and all things digital. Previous experience with Opera and/or HubOS software's is a bonus. Ready to work when the world sleeps, on weekends, and during holidays – because the show must go on Equipped with a high school diploma (or equivalent) – bonus points for a degree in hospitality management.
