About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Duty Manager to join our Front Office team at Pullman & Mercure Melbourne Albert Park. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will lead a shift of front office professionals, ensuring our guest experience is at the forefront at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a shift of front office professionals, including our overnight team, ensuring our guest experience is at the forefront at all times
- Assist in developing, implementing and maintaining procedures for the front office department and fostering a focus on guest engagement
- Assist with the management of the team including training and development, ensuring the team's success
- Handle complex guest queries and feedback
- Have the ability to work a rotating roster, including overnight, weekends and public holidays
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role with proven success
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Desire to grow your skills and progress your managerial experience
- Ability to work autonomously when leading the overnight team
- Previous experience with a PMS (Opera experience will be highly regarded)
- Reliability & flexibility to work a rotating roster
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification and First Aid certification (or be willing to obtain)
