Salary and Benefits:

About the Role:

As Operational Hotel Director, you will have a presence that evokes comfort and style, creating meaningful relationships with your team, guests, and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for guiding, coaching, and mentoring your team to achieve excellence across all departments, while also driving changes and improvements in performance and implementing strategies aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all facets of the hotel, including food & beverage, rooms division, revenue management.
  • Be well-versed in financial budgets and targets, preparing reporting to the Area General Manager and owners.
  • Lead and develop your team to ensure the hotel's profitability and success.
  • Create and build strong relationships with key stakeholders, property owners, guests, and regional shared services.
  • Maintain excellent product and service standards while maximising revenue and balancing expenses.
  • Foster a positive customer sentiment by recruiting and developing an engaged team.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a General, Hotel or Department Manager within a large-scale hotel.
  • Extensive understanding of Food & Beverage, Events & Rooms Division.
  • Ability to lead by example, creating an environment where team members are encouraged and motivated to be their true selves.
  • Confidence in building strong relationships, effectively resolving difficult situations, and implementing solutions that improve service levels and financial results.
  • Past experience working with body corporates in an MLR setting is desirable.
  • Comprehension of key metrics impacting hospitality businesses, using this knowledge to drive top-line revenue and motivate the team to do the same.
