Hotel Manager - A Key Role in Ensuring Hotel Excellence


The Hotel Manager plays a pivotal role in driving engagement and product quality, ensuring superior guest service, and adhering to quality and brand standards.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Manage and coordinate activities to maximize performance, profitability, and return on investment.
  • Create a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ensure superior guest service is delivered.
  • Implement policies, procedures, and provide support on hotel operating systems.

Financial Returns:



  • Use company and IHG systems and processes to maximize revenue.
  • Ensure internal audit compliance is understood and executed.
  • Adhere to cash security procedures, including the hotel Cash Float Policy.
  • Manage stock control and ordering to meet business needs.
  • Monitor departmental costs to ensure performance against budget.

Qualifications and Requirements:



  • Required Skills:

    • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, guests, and external parties.
    • A high energy level and a passion for achieving superior results.
    • Ability to lead in a competitive environment.

  • Required Qualifications:

    • Diploma in Hotel Management and/or Bachelor's degree in Hotel Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent.
    • Previous Managerial Experience.

  • Additional Requirements:

    • Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate.
    • Current First Aid Certificate with HLTAID003, HLTAID002, and HLTAID001 accreditations.
