We are expanding and seeking a Channel Partner Manager for the Asia region, based out of our Sydney office. This position involves overseeing all interactions and sales initiatives with our channel partners, including direct client-facing responsibilities primarily focused on strategic business development. The Channel Partner Manager will be accountable for the continuous growth of their partners' operations and teams, and will collaborate with them to manage their sales pipeline and forecasts. The role may also entail establishing channel relationships from the ground up.

Role Overview
  • Take charge of the strategy, sales, and execution involved in creating new and enhancing existing partnerships across Asia.
  • Lead strategic sales initiatives and account management alongside your partners, addressing both new and existing business opportunities.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements while effectively balancing company objectives, speed, and economic viability.
  • Assess the financial and non-financial advantages and risks associated with new and existing partnerships.
  • Monitor, report, and enhance the performance of partnerships, identifying issues as they arise, evaluating potential solutions, and implementing them.
  • Own your partners' portfolio targets and ensure results are delivered.
  • Collaborate with various teams to establish and maintain a pipeline of relationships with potential partners, taking responsibility for the relationship throughout all stages.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary within Asia or to partner/customer locations.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Fluency in Mandarin is required.
  • A minimum of 6+ years of experience in technology sales or business development is essential.
  • 6+ years of experience in SaaS sales or business development is a plus.
  • 1-2 years of experience working in the Asian market is advantageous.
  • 1-2 years of experience managing Channel Partners or Resellers is a plus.
  • A strong sales background with a proven track record from opportunity identification to closure.
  • Skills in account and quota planning.
  • Ability to manage a project from inception to completion.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Outstanding organizational and multitasking capabilities.
  • A team player with a proactive approach.
  • Experience and strength in public speaking is advantageous.
  • Must hold a relevant visa to work in Australia.
