The Purpose of the Role
The Senior Partnership Development Manager is responsible for quality and craft in our partnership approach, demonstrating PMX's expertise and industry best practice in driving brand and business results through sports and entertainment media and content partnerships for brands.
You will have a strategic aptitude to set brand partnership goals to create bespoke solutions in line with the most important brand need.
Key Outputs
Custodian and creator of PMX partnerships process and templates to ensure consistent top-practice recommendations that demonstrate advantage for brands and fans to create assets and deliver outcomes with short- and long-term benefits
Thought Leadership: Develop content plans for thought leadership for clients, agency, and media partners that identify Sports & Entertainment trends and opportunities to inspire projects, demonstrate our brand advantage, and elevate our PMX profile
Project and Commercial Delivery: Working with the PMX team to perform best-in-class partnerships across Sports & Entertainment for case studies that prove brand growth and our unique expertise.
Ideal Experience
A minimum 8-10 years related industry experience working in agency/client or media businesses with proven expertise in building partnership solutions
Proven expertise in building strategic solutions for brands across assets and formats, and a strong point of view on what partnership success looks like
Experience identifying and quantifying brand, media, and fan metrics to work with research partners to deliver meaningful partnership measurement plans
Passion for sports and entertainment in Australia/New Zealand in ways that truly assess and can add to the fan experience for brands
Strength in relationships and leadership – inspiring the PMX S&E team to produce finest work, build partnerships with media and corporate stakeholders for mutually beneficial solutions, ability to build confidence amongst clients and agency partners that PMX elevate base industry products in market
Strategic storyteller: Oversee partnership recommendation narrative to ensure compelling, cohesive solutions that consider paid, owned, shared, earned inputs and assets for application within and beyond partnership timeframes
Interest in, and knowledge of, Media, Tech, and Innovation capabilities to continually drive new solutions and extensions within partnerships
Thought leader and hunger in understanding and identifying trends beyond the current landscape to continually encourage and inspire team and partners through content and industry representation
Ability to guide multiple stakeholders across media, corporate bodies, client, agency partners, creative, and internal teams to deliver utmost solutions
Discipline in applying and creating structure within PMX for consistent, best-in-class presentations, artefacts, and recommendations
