The role of the Industrial Relations Professional involves overseeing all industrial and employee relations matters across Australia & New Zealand. Key responsibilities include acting as the key industrial relations lead, managing a diverse range of cases and key IR/ER activities, and supporting business stakeholders in case management.

Additionally, this position holder will provide advice on people matters, support workplace investigations, and contribute to the performance of the Human Resources function through effective case management. Day-to-day responsibilities involve reviewing and maintaining the labour relations framework in collaboration with HR leadership, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, and providing timely professional advice on labour and other relevant legislation frameworks.

This position also involves engaging in disciplinary committee matters as required, regularly reviewing and updating organisational policies and procedures to ensure consistent application, and supporting key people projects and contributing to the Human Resources function's performance through proactive understanding of organisational needs.

To be successful in this role you will need strong communication skills, ability to work under pressure, attention to detail and high level of professionalism. You should have experience in labour relations, human resources or a related field, knowledge of Australian and New Zealand employment laws, and strong analytical and problem solving skills.
